Bella, six years old with long blonde hair, spread a blanket in the backyard. She steadied her telescope. "Hello, sky friends," she whispered. "Tonight I’m listening." Crickets chirped as stars blinked awake.

A bright star winked above the fence. Bella opened her folded star map. "You’re the first clue," she said. She aimed the telescope, breathing steady. The night felt like a secret classroom.

She traced seven stars into a spoon. "Big Dipper," Bella murmured, "pour your stories." She pictured silver tales across the dark. Her long blonde hair gleamed. The shape pointed her onward.

Near the Dipper, a crooked W sparkled. "Cassiopeia, the queen," Bella said. She traced the W with a gentle finger. "Your story reminds me to sit kindly." The stars seemed to nod.

Three bright stars lined up like a belt. "Hello, Orion," she whispered. "Strong doesn’t mean loud." Bella breathed brave and quiet, holding the telescope still. The hunter’s outline looked friendly tonight.

A triangle and hook became a lion. "Leo, you’re brave and careful," Bella said. She sketched the stars in her notebook. Each line felt like a gentle roar. The page rustled proudly.

Following the Dipper’s pointer stars, Bella found Polaris. "North Star!" she cheered. "You help travelers and stories find their way." She drew an arrow across her map. The constellations suddenly formed a path.

Bella read her notes aloud. "Queens teach kindness, hunters teach calm strength, lions teach courage." "Together, you guide me." She titled a new page, The Stargazers. Her voice sparkled like the sky.

A shooting star streaked across the sky. Bella gasped and clasped her hands. "I wish to keep learning star stories." She closed her eyes and smiled. The wish felt bright and steady.

The horizon blushed with early pink. Bella folded her blanket and hugged the map. "Thank you, constellations," she said. "I’ll share your stories tomorrow." She waved at the fading stars and tiptoed inside.
